(SANDY) — Police on Tuesday released video and a photo of a man they say took part in an armed kidnapping, assault and attempted robbery.  It happened on Oct. 10th, near 652 E. 9400 S. Police claim 18-year old Eduardo Michael Miranda-Carmona put together a plan to kidnap the 39-year old victim, who was his co-worker.  Miranda-Carmona and two other juveniles were arrested shortly after the kidnapping.

Police say they’re anxious to find the fourth man.  “In the video, he’s the one that’s actually the one that’s holding the gun,”  said Sandy Police Sgt. Jason Nielsen.  “You don’t just hold a gun to somebody’s head without being extremely dangerous.”

Police say during the kidnapping, the victim was bound and forced in to the back of his own car.  They say he was stabbed when he refused to give them his PIN number as they drove him to ATMs to withdraw cash.

The victim was eventually released in Stansbury Park, in Tooele County.

Police eventually located the victim’s car and arrested three suspects.  Nielsen said the suspects are not cooperating in the investigation. They’re hoping the video and surveillance photo will help them identify and arrest the fourth suspect.  “We don’t want this to happen to anybody else, so we want to get this guy off the street as soon as we can,” said Nielsen.
