SALT LAKE CITY – Preparations are starting to happen at Vivint Smart Arena for games three and four of the playoff series between the Jazz and the Oklahoma City Thunder. There are some tickets left, but, Jazz management are warning people to avoid buying fake ones.
There’s been a spike in the number of tickets being sold after the Jazz’s win last night, but, every time there’s a high demand for tickets, that’s when the scammers come out.
“We encourage people to be mindful of where they are sourcing their tickets,” says Utah Jazz Spokesman Frank Zang
The vast majority of fans use electronic tickets now, but, there have still been some instances where fans were suckered into buying fake ones. The team has officially partnered with Ticketmaster for sales and resales, and they can’t vouch for tickets bought through any other source.
“Tickets that are purchased from any other source may not be valid,” says Zang.
