NORTH SALT LAKE — One lane of I-215 westbound is open again near Redwood Road after a box truck became lodged over a construction barrier, snarling morning commute traffic for several hours.
Crews were on scene early Wednesday working to right the truck and remove it. They estimated it could take until 7:30 a.m. or later to completely clear and reopen the road.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, no other vehicles were involved. Troopers are looking into whether fatigued driving is a possible cause of the crash, which happened around 4 a.m.
