HILL AIR FORCE BASE – Davis County officials are readying for a busy weekend on I-15 as fans of the Warriors over the Wasatch air show flock to Hill Air Force Base to catch a glimpse of high-flying jets and aerial acrobatics.

The air show, which takes place every other year, typically attracts about 600,000 people to the area.

Admission and parking are both free, and to help alleviate some of the traffic, the Utah Transit Authority is offering discounted fares and shuttles provide service to the base from the Clearfield FrontRunner station.

Coolers, pets and outside food are not allowed. A full list of what items are and are not allowed inside the gates is available at www.theutahairshow.com.

Gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, with activities beginning both days at 10 am.
