SALT LAKE CITY — Smoky air is filling the Wasatch Front from Heber Valley to Utah County and beyond.

KSL Meteorologist Grant Weyman says there’s a combination of smoke producers out there and the bad air is being carried into the valleys by high-level winds.

Weyman says all the smoke is also affecting our air quality.

He says the poor air is more like what we see during the winter inversion months and is very unusual for this time of year.
