MADISON, Wisc. — After a major upset of sixth-ranked Wisconsin, the BYU Cougars are officially part of the national conversation.

They made the Associated Press Top 25 College Football Rankings at Number 25.

It’s the team’s first time in the national ranking in three years. The last time was September 20, 2015.

It is also the first time being ranked under head coach Kalani Sitake.

Coach Sitake says they are going to enjoy the win but then get back to work as soon as they can and get ready for the next game.

“All I care about is that we won. I don’t rank anything. Wins are hard to come by so I love them all,” he said.

BYU can improve to 3-1 when it hosts FCS opponent McNeese State Saturday. The kickoff is at 4 pm Mountain Time on KSL Newsradio.
