Some of the National Football League’s Hall of Famers are getting a little greedy. They are protesting the annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Ohio unless the NFL gives health insurance and an annual salary.

First of all, can you protest if you’re not working?

I agree that most of these players put the game on the map. These players are some of the greatest athletes that the sport has ever seen. If it’s someone who is injured and they don’t have a way to make any additional income, I can understand that. However, most of these athletes who are Hall of Famers, and I have a hard time believing that these guys don’t have access to additional funds.

If you’re Deion Sanders, your name only is enough to get an endorsement or find some means to bring in some additional money.

I’m pulling out my very tiny violin here because this is ridiculous.
