Deer hunter Mason Bakker, who went missing Saturday afternoon in the mountains above Centerville, was found “cold and wet but otherwise in great shape” Sunday morning.

Bakker, 19, became separated from his father while hunting around 10 A.M. Saturday. He was last heard from around noon.

In conjunction with the Centerville Police Department and the Davis County Sheriff’s Office, search and rescue teams from Weber, Salt Lake and Cache counties spent Saturday night and Sunday morning searching the Parrish Flats area for Bakker.

According to the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page, hunters found Bakker around 9 A.M. Sunday.

Bakker has been reunited with his family and is doing well, the sheriff’s office said.
