SALT LAKE CITY — The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City says in the first four days of October, SLC has gotten more rain than the entire summer.

From June through September, the Salt Lake International Airport measured just under three quarters of an inch of rain combined.

In October we’ve seen .94 inches as of 5 AM Friday.

KSL Meterologist Grant Wayman says in the last 24 hours, parts of Utah has seen impressive totals.

Rain is expected to taper mid morning making way for sunshine and another storm with cooler temperatures is expected Saturday into Sunday.
