PROVO — 142 patients made the move from the old tower at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo to the new one Sunday afternoon. A hospital spokesperson said that there’s a big difference, a patient with a big family could only have a few visitors at a time but now in the new rooms they could have 10 at once. The new rooms have lots of natural light where the old ones had small windows.

The old patient tower at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo was built back in the 1970’s and is scheduled to be demolished in just a few days. It’s been replaced by the new Pedersen Patient Tower. KSL Newsradio’s Dan Bammes has more.
