There are more than 40,000 children fighting cancer in the United States. Here in Salt Lake City, the organization Anything Can Be creates hope and raises awareness in the fight against pediatric cancer, one dream and one photograph at a time. Through the use of powerful imagery and custom photo-shoot experiences, they inspire children battling cancer to believe in the impossible, to believe that Anything Can Be.
Photographer Jonathan Diaz started Anything Can Be with the simple goal of taking dreams and making them come true through photography. He wants the photos to be meaningful, create lasting hope, and memorialize a part of these children’s cancer journey.
In September, the organization will be releasing a one of a kind book called “I Can Dream.” The purpose of “I Can Dream” is to inspire hope by sharing these children’s inspirational stories and images. The goal is to get this book into the hands of all 40,000 going through the same cancer journey.
SelectHealth recognizes the profound imagery provided by Anything Can Be as another example of how Utah Gives Back.
