Wasatch Adaptive Sports

Wasatch Adaptive Sports was founded in 1977 as the first nonprofit organization to provide year-round adaptive recreational programming along the Wasatch Front. Their mission is to encourage individuals with adaptive needs and their families to realize their potential and engage in active living through recreational, educational, and social programs.
They provide highly personalized lessons in a range of sports, the largest of which are adaptive skiing and cycling. It is geared specifically towards individuals with mobility limitations due to medical and neurological conditions. Through adaptive lessons, they help participants progress from stationary to active by adapting to their needs in order to improve mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
In celebration of 40 years of service to the community, Wasatch Adaptive Sports has recently launched their 40 for 40 campaign with the goal of raising $40,000 by December 31. To get involved, visit
