The Holladay Arts Council provides access to the arts for residents of Holladay and surrounding areas. One of their programs, Healing Through Art, strives to promote and create awareness and understanding of what refugees experience.

They offered art workshops to more than 100 people from five of the most in-need refugee communities in the valley.
In conjunction with World Refugee Day, a reception will be held June 18th where the Holladay Arts Council will highlight the art and stories of participating refugee artists, and feature live entertainment provided by refugee performing artists. The work will also be curated by the Utah Arts and Museums’ Chase Home Museum from June through August. In addition, the Council will put the artwork, bios, and portraits on their website so each piece can provide a continuing impact to the community.

This program enhances quality of life and brings love and understanding about the struggles of being a refugee.
SelectHealth recognizes the community integration from the Holladay Arts Council as another example of how Utah Gives Back.
