Do you remember a teacher that impacted your life? This is National Teacher Appreciation Week, where communities take time to acknowledge the crucial role teachers play in making sure every student receives a quality education. It’s a special time to honor the men and women who lend their passion and skills to our children.
This year’s theme is “Teachers Deliver.” Each one does deliver so much to our students—inspiration, motivation and, ultimately, their futures. Teachers change the lives of thousands of children every day, and their work and impact extends far beyond the boundaries of the classroom. And though we can’t ever thank them enough, we can take a moment during this week to share our appreciation for the special educators in our lives.
Have your child write a thank you note to their teacher, or share special stories on social media. Let’s spread the word to everyone that this is Teacher Appreciation Week and show our educators how much they mean to us.
