By educating the community and policy makers, they help support local agriculture, improve physical activity, enhance self-reliance, and strengthen mental and social health. This enables families to bring fresh foods to the kitchen, support local farmers, and reduce the risk of depression, anxiety, obesity, and substance abuse through daily family meals.
The EAT Coalition invites you to Feast Utah each year as a free community festival where guests can sample fresh foods and locally-grown produce, learn about educational resources provided by local organizations, support your community, and further engage in food conversations. SelectHealth recognizes the nourishing influence of EAT Coalition of Utah County as another example of how Utah Gives Back.
