The Unicode Consortium, which is the non-profit organization that maintains the software standards for the way text is represented in software, has announced 59 new emoji that will be making their way to your keyboards this year.

The changes include a more inclusive and diverse list of characters that include a mechanical arm and hearing aids, as well as a deaf person and a woman in a wheelchair.

One of the other major changes is the inclusion of 171 couple combinations of genders and skin tones.

But the changes don’t just come in for accessibility; the Unicode Consortium is also adding some fun new emoji including waffles, onions, and juice boxes. The group is also adding in an otter, a sloth and an orangutan.
