MOAB — The Utah Highway Patrol says rocks “the size of motorhomes” have closed State Route 128 in a rockslide near Moab early Sunday morning.

In a tweet, the agency said it expected one lane of traffic to reopen soon. However, getting the road fully reopened could take longer.

S.R. 128 runs along the Colorado River between Moab and I-70. It includes a number of resorts, campgrounds and trailheads popular with outdoor recreators.
