WASHINGTON, D.C. — White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the Trump Administration at the end of the month, according to a tweet from President Donald Trump.
After 3 1/2 years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month and going home to the Great State of Arkansas….

President Trump said his long-term spokesperson will be returning to her home state of Arkansas. He wrote his appreciation for the work Sanders had done and tweeted that he hoped she would run for governor of Arkansas.
….She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job! I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas – she would be fantastic. Sarah, thank you for a job well done!

President Trump did not immediately name a successor to Sanders as press secretary.
Serving since the beginning of the Trump administration’s tenure in the White House, Sanders is one of the president’s most trusted aides. She was one of the few remaining who have been with the president since the campaign days.
