Salt Lake City, UT — At Liberty Park, one of the most historic and popular parks in Salt Lake City, a fun tradition of celebrating local art is coming back this year. Over a dozen local artists will be on hand for Liberty Park Market’s first Art in the Park of 2019 on Friday, June 21.
This Year’s Art in the Park
Art In The Park celebrates local artists and the unique handmade gifts and art pieces that they create for members of our community. If you have been looking for a great original gift, then it’s definitely working checking out. The popular event takes place every third Friday of the season.

What To Expect At The Liberty Park Market
At the Liberty Park Market, you can eat, play, and learn every Friday evening from 4 pm to dusk from now until through October 4. Over 50 local vendors can be found at the park each week. The market proudly supports local farms and businesses and provides access to farm-to-table seasonally grown produce, flowers, eggs, honey, jams, salsas, meat products, cheese, baked goods, and prepared food products.
“When you go to the Liberty Park Market, you get a chance to meet and mingle with some of the most renowned growers and producers in Utah”, said Valerie Vaughn, Co-Chair of the Liberty Park Market. “Plus you’ll be able to join your friends and neighbors to shop local and help support the local economy and community.”
The market also features artisan crafts from many local vendors. Liberty Park is located between 600 East and 700 East and 900 South and 1300 East. You’ll find the market on the east side of the park every Friday from 4 pm to dusk.
