SALT LAKE CITY — Saratoga Springs Police have arrested the owner of a landscaping company who is accused of shooting a customer that filed a lawsuit against him last month.

Ryan Nolan Holladay, 36, from Riverton was wanted in connection with a shooting last month in Bluffdale where police say he went to a man’s house on May 12th and shot at the man 6 times and hit him twice over a payment disagreement.

In a statement by police Holladay fled the scene and even left the state for a while. The US Marshals Violent Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team was called in to help find him.

Bluffdale Police Chief Andrew Burton said that Holladay got tired of running which led him to turn himself in at the Salt Lake County Jail last night.

“He was aware they were looking and frankly became tired of running and hiding. So earlier this evening his attorney contacted the (US Marshals VFAST team advised them that he wanted to surrender himself.”

Police have taken him into custody and no bail was issued.
