SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A man convicted of the fatal shooting of a University of Utah student has been extradited to Colorado to face additional charges.

The Deseret News reports 25-year-old Austin Jeffery Boutain will face a first-degree murder charge in the death of 63-year-old Mitchell Bradford Ingle in October 2017.

Boutain is also charged with aggravated robbery, motor vehicle theft and being a restricted person in possession of a weapon.

No court date has been scheduled in Colorado.

Authorities say Boutain slit Ingle’s throat while they partied together because he believed Ingle flirted with his wife, 25-year-old Kathleen Elizabeth Rose Boutain.

Police say the Boutains drove Ingle’s vehicle to Salt Lake City, where Austin Boutain killed student ChenWei Guo.

Boutain pleaded guilty to aggravated murder and was sentenced to life in prison.
