SALT LAKE CITY — A boil water order is in effect due to the possible presence of E. coli bacteria.

The Soldier Hollow Complex, including the golf course, the grill and the Olympic venue are affected by the boil water order.

The Charleston Water Conservancy District says construction workers damaged water pipes on Tuesday, August 13. The conservancy says it didn’t detect the contamination until Wednesday afternoon, August 14th.

Watch for symptoms of E.coli infection if you visited the complex between August 13 and 14.  Those with weakened immune systems are most at risk.

Teams from Charleston Water Conservancy District, the Soldier Hollow Complex and Wasatch County Health Department are working to correct the issue.
