LUND, UTAH – A 3,500-acre wildfire is burning north of Cedar City in Utah, and it is 0% contained.

The Neck Fire was first reported at 5:00 yesterday afternoon near the city of Lund. Firefighters do not know what sparked it but say no homes are threatened. No injuries have been reported.

At least four air tankers have been called in to fight the fire, which is burning in dry grass and sagebrush.

Firefighters are making good progress on two other fires burning in the northern part of the state.

The 2,117 acre Green Ravine Fire in Tooele County is 80% contained.

The 128 acre Snoqualmie Fire in Layton is now at 76% containment.

Firefighters suspect the Snoqualmie fire is human-caused. The cause of the Green Ravine fire is under investigation.
