For twenty years People’s Health Clinic has provided no-cost, quality medical services to the uninsured residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties. They provide services that include pediatrics, chronic disease care and education, vision programs, and mental health services. Their executive director, Beth Armstrong said, “It’s not just about keeping people out of the emergency room, it’s about keeping them from ever having to go there.”

People’s Health Clinic provided nearly 10,000 patient services last year and is dedicated to keeping the community members healthy and strong.  They look at all areas of a person’s health to determine the best course of action.

Most of their patients work at least one job, many two and three, working hard to provide for their families, but are uninsured.  In 2018, doctors and other volunteers donated over 4,500 hours of their time to clinic patients. If you would like to volunteer visit peopleshealthclinic.org.

SelectHealth recognizes the important community role provided by the People’s Health Clinic as another example of how Utah Gives Back.
