Twin brothers Hector and Martin immigrated to the U.S. with their father 15 years ago. What little money they had went to paying rent, food, and other bills and there was nothing left for green card application fees. When their 18th birthday came they had to apply as adults and were afraid they’d be forced back to a country they’d never known.

Fortunately, they discovered Catholic Community Services. Here, they found lawyers to help and were able to stay in the U.S. The organization not only serves immigrants, but those who are experiencing homelessness, refugees, and those affected by addiction.

Catholic Community Services empowers people in need along the Wasatch Front to reach self-sufficiency by giving strength to the weakest in our midst. They offer legal services, refugee resettlement programs, shelter to those experiencing homelessness, and meals to the hungry every day.  To volunteer or lean more visit ccsutah.org.
