UPDATED: 8:30 a.m.

SALT LAKE CITY:  The snow is tapering off a bit, and, still falling, in various portions of northern Utah.  Please check here throughout the morning for updates on school district and government delays and closures:

Schools

Provo School District:  Due to quick-changing weather and accumulating snow, some below bench pickup is needed this morning.  Bus 36 and Bux 004 have already switched to below bench pickup. This may effect the Southeast Bench, NOrtheast Bench, Oak Hills and Sherwood Hills neighborhoods. As always, schools will work with parents on attendance/tardy issues related to weather.

Weber District:  A tweet sent at 7:30 a.m. indicates that schools are in session and buses are running. The tweet also says that if you feel you’d rather keep your kids at home, they support your decision.
