PARK CITY — Police booked a former Division of Child and Family Services employee, who is facing several child abuse charges after taking advantage of three teenagers, Tuesday afternoon.
Now, the worker — Ashley Morgan — is on administrative leave and cannot make and further comments, according to the Wasatch School District.
Morgan faces charges of child abuse, witness tampering and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to a Summit County Sheriff’s Office news release, Morgan is accused of inviting a 17-year old girl and two male students to her home in September 2019 where she gave them alcohol.
Then, she encouraged the girl to have sex with one of the male students.
In a separate report made in November 2019, Morgan denied inviting students over to her house.
She allegedly used information she gathered about the 17-year-old girl to intimidate her into not telling anyone. Morgan texted the girl threatening to disclose personal information she obtained from DCFS if she told the police what happened.
