SALT LAKE CITY– Roughly 50 rocks were thrown through the window of the Bloomberg campaign office on 243 East and 400 South according to Catherine Sant Marr, Bloomberg’s Comms Director for Utah.

Marr said that based their security patrol, the vandalism happened sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

She says the Salt Lake City staff will continue working, and that today their volunteers are phone-banking in house.

A statement was issued by Utah State Director Lauren Littlefield, “We are disheartened by the vandalism at our Salt Lake City headquarters. We know that emotions can run high in politics but we also know that even when we disagree, Utahns find common ground in civil discourse. We strongly condemn this act of vandalism but we are laser focused on Super Tuesday and will continue to share Mike’s message about unifying our country with Utah voters.”
