Ben McAdams discharged from hospital after battle with coronavirus

SALT LAKE CITY — Congressman Ben McAdams was discharged from the hospital where he was being treated for coronavirus on Saturday.

McAdams said he is feeling relatively better after getting treatment fro the past week for  COVID-19.

“I’m grateful for the excellent care I arrived from hospital staff,” he said.

He will remain quarantined even from his family as he continues his recovery.

He said, “I look forward to continuing my recovery at home as I remain quarantined, including from my family, and gradually getting back to my normal routine as my health improves.”

 

Update:

McAdams shared a video on his twitter following his discharge from the hospital where he was being treated.

He thanked everyone for their thoughts and prayers and urged everyone to take this seriously.

“Please take the advice of the CDC very seriously, follow all of the guidelines,” he said.
