When caring for our neighbors, friends, and the community we often think about gathering together. We are in a time when congregating can lead to the spread the novel coronavirus or COVID-19. The best way to care for those around you is to stay in your home unless you are part of the essential workforce or need to make an essential trip like grocery shopping.
By eliminating contact with others, staying home, and practicing social distancing, our healthcare systems can better meet the needs of those who have been affected by COVID-19. Being isolated can feel overwhelming so we encourage you to stay virtually connected with those you love, practice meditation, or do an at home workout.
Be gentle with yourself and your families, check in with your friends who live alone, appreciate what is going right, and take a few deep breaths. For more information please visit IntermountainHealthcare.org.
