CLIFTON, Virginia — While everyone is battling to keep the cabin fever away as states across the U.S. have issued stay-at-home orders, one Virginia woman is trying to make her neighbors smile with some creative porch performances.

Erin Kemble hasn’t been able to keep working as a caterer due to Virginia’s social distancing orders. So, she’s turned to her passion for pop-culture and performance to keep busy.

“I get to wake up every day and get to be somebody else,” she told Washinton DC’s WJLA. “It’s the best.”

Kemble began to dress up and decorate her front porch every day with her performances beginning March 30 as the little piggy that stayed home — and she hasn’t slowed down yet.

Since her debut, she’s been everything from Bob Ross to Napoleon Dynamite and from Willy Wonka to ET.

Kemble said with everything that’s going on around the world, she wants to give people a pick-up.

“There’s just like a blanket of sadness all around,” she said. “The lump in your throat. The world is sad. The world is very sad. They need to laugh. We all need to laugh.”

So, until the quarantine is lifted, Kemble said she will take to her social-distancing stage.
