AMBER Alert canceled in Duchesne County missing child case

FRUITLAND, Utah — The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Department issued, then canceled shortly afterward, an AMBER Alert Wednesday evening as they searched for a four-year-old child. 

Deputies did not offer further details in canceling the alert, except to say the “subject” had been located. 

Utah agencies must meet certain criteria to issue an AMBER Alert. Those criteria include: 

 

 

The AMBER Alert from Duchesne County included a description of a possible suspect and a vehicle, as well as a potential four-year-old child victim.
