Romney claims corruption in commutation of Roger Stone’s sentence

SALT LAKE CITY — Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, tweeted his concerns about President Donald Trump’s commutation of the sentence of Roger Stone.

Stone was a former campaign adviser to the president and was due on Tuesday to begin a sentence of three years and four months in prison.

In Romney’s tweet, he referred to the move as “Unprecedented, historic corruption.”
