UPDATE:

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The Cedar Front Fire that sparked Wednesday afternoon is now at 35 acres — a growth of 30 acres within an hour. Fire authorities report a dozer, one helicopter and two single engine air tankers are on-scene.

There are also local resources working to contain the flames from the ground.

Authorities say they believe the fire growth is being mainly fueled by strong winds, as firefighters report “gusty and shifting winds in the area.”
