Earlier Tuesday afternoon, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office issued an Amber Alert for Chanzi Delgado, and said that investigators believed her non-custodial father kidnapped her.
Deputies said Mark Anthony Delgado, the girl’s father, brought her and her mother from South Dakota to a residence in Park City “to reconcile their relationship,” according to a release. Investigators say Delgado left with the little girl in a borrowed vehicle Tuesday morning, Oct. 6, to “run errands,” and never returned.
