Halloween across Utah: 2020

SALT LAKE CITY — In some ways, Halloween night felt pretty normal, as if we weren’t dealing with a global pandemic that has changed so much for Utahns this year.

Large pumpkins were on full display in Kaysville, for instance, as you can see in the photo above.

In Park City, the dogs were getting into the act.

Then, in other ways, Halloween 2020 looked completely different than any Halloween we’ve ever seen.

Many took the advice of health officials and made their treat delivery systems appropriately socially distanced. These treats came from the folks at a seniors’ house in Payson. Here, Fred Aorgill does the honors:

Here’s an interesting candy delivery system. Craig Bushman from Cedar Hills calls it a Covid Candy Chute (it has us thinking of Romeo and Juliet for some reason):
