Utah COVID-19 cases climb high with 2956 new cases and 9 deaths

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health reports high COVID-19 numbers today with 2956 new cases, 9 new deaths with 410 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19. 

The rolling 7-day average for percent of positive laboratory tests is 19.90%.

To date, coronavirus totals for the state of Utah are as follows:

Total COVID-19 Cases: 127,279

Total People Tested: 1,136,826

Total Tests Reported: 1,567,044

Total COVID-19 Hospitalizations: 5,922

Total COVID-19 Deaths: 649
