SALT LAKE CITY — More than 80 firefighters from multiple agencies across the valley attacked a three-alarm fire in Midvale on Sunday morning.
Word of the fire was sent to officials around 9 a.m. according to Unified Fire Authority spokesman Ryan Love.
The building at 7001 S. 900 E. was described as being part of a business center park within Union Center Plaza, with various medical businesses inside.
Love said that firefighters initially tried to fight the fire from inside the burning building. But he said that once they reached the second floor they realized it was too dangerous to stay inside.
Firefighters from Sandy City, South Jordan and Murray City joined Unified to fight this three-alarm blaze defensively from the outside.
At this time there have been no injuries to civilians or to staff.
