WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden has signed a massive $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill into law Thursday, as heard live on KSL NewsRadio.

The $1.9 trillion relief package, titled the “American Rescue Plan,” was signed just a little after 12:00 p.m. mountain time.
The bill became a signature initiative of President Biden, who hoped originally to sign it Friday. But the president moved up the plans to sign the bill into law to Thursday instead, hours before he plans to offer his first prime-time address to the American public, marking the one-year anniversary of the pandemic.
The bill passed the House in a near party-line vote on Wednesday by a vote of 220 to 211. No Republicans voted to pass it, they were joined by a single Democrat — Rep. Jared Golden of Maine — in their vote against the bill.
