Utah surpasses 1 million coronavirus vaccines delivered

SALT LAKE CITY —  Governor Spencer Cox announced in a tweet that Utah officially has surpassed the 1 million mark of delivered vaccines. 

“This morning Utah officially crossed the 1 million mark for vaccine doses delivered,” Cox said in his tweet.

“This is an incredible milestone and speaks to the dedication of our public health teams and private partners. Thanks to everyone who stepped up in a historic way. We are just getting started.”

Lt. Gov. Diedre Henderson also tweeted about Utah’s accomplishment in surpassing the mark of 1 million vaccines delivered.


 

 

The Utah Department of Health’s numbers for today, March 13, shows that 993,168 vaccines have been administered. Officials from the Utah Department of Health tols KSL that Sunday’s update will show that today, Saturday, the state surpassed the 1 million mark.
