Utah Gov. Spencer Cox announced Thursday that all Utah residents ages 16 and older will be able to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine starting next Wednesday, March 24. This is a jump from Cox’s previous plans to open the vaccine in early April.
In his announcement, Cox said the sign-up process for most areas will begin Wednesday, but the vaccine distribution plans are up to local county health departments — and some have chosen to open registration sign-ups even sooner.
Here’s what we know so far about when you can sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine in each health district. You can get a vaccine in any county in the state regardless of where you live.
