SALT LAKE CITY — If you’re looking to schedule your vaccine appointment before March 24, there are a few places that are offering sign ups now, or plan to soon.

You can  schedule a vaccine appointment on Nomi Health’s website now for dates after March 24th. To sign up, visit getmyshot.utah.gov. They have partnered with local Megaplex Movie Theatres to offer shots at some of their locations.

Salt Lake County’s Health Department tells KSL they will be making appointments starting 9 a.m. on Monday, March 22nd.

But they are already booked for shots through the week of April 3rd.

Department Spokesman Nicholas Rupp said they’re planning on opening Monday. But he wants to issue a caveat that it could take longer.

“We have a lot of things behind the scenes that need to happen with our registration, to remove the age check, to remove the qualifying conditions, all of those things and our programmers are working frantically.”

He said you may be able to get a shot sooner by visiting vaccinefinder.org. There you can look for locations offering vaccines to adults starting Wednesday.

The University of Utah Health says they’re offering the sign-ups to their patients now. You can visit your MyChart app or call 801-587-0712.

Other local health departments like Utah County opened shots for all Utah adults on Thursday. A spokesperson for the department says spots filled up within 20 minutes.

Davis County Health Department said they plan to open their registration Wednesday when all adult Utahns become eligible.
