The Fear Factory launches their 2021 ‘Ten Years of Fear’ celebration with this weekend’s Halfway to Halloween haunts

SALT LAKE CITY– The Fear Factory has been welcoming haunted house enthusiasts into its six buildings, six floors of hauntingly repurposed factory building since 2011. This year as they mark their ‘Ten Years of Fear,’ they are excited to roll out some unique events and experiences for loyal horror fans.

This weekend, Friday, May 21st, and Saturday, May 22nd the award-winning attraction launches the 2021 season with their Halfway to Halloween LIGHTS OUT event, followed by the launch of their new experience on Monday, May 24th, the Behind the Sets & Screams Tour.

Fear Factory’s Halfway to Halloween events

  • Friday 5/21 and Saturday 5/21, the time-ticketed event runs from 8 pm to Midnight. General Admission with perks like free downloadable group photo starts at $26.99. 

  • Monday 5/24 Behind the Sets & Screams Tour runs 6 pm-8 pm only. Grants customers access to the non-public spaces, magic, secrets, easter eggs and more, that you’ll only know from attending this guided tour. Plus, rare exclusive in-attraction photo opportunities! Reserved during non-operating nights for a thorough exploration of the attraction’s performance areas. 

New and continuing experiences to Fear Factory

  • Monthly Grimm Ghost tours in the off-season featuring a real paranormal investigation at the Factory.

  • Ghost Story tours during the open-season, non-operating nights showcasing the haunting history of the Factory. 

  • Friday the 13th special haunt. The next event is Friday, August 13, 2021.

  • The 2021 Halloween season officially opens on Friday, September 10, and will be open on weekends through September. On Friday, October 1, the Fear Factory will be open Thursday – Sunday before opening nightly on Thursday, October 21. The 2021 season will end with the Fear Factory’s traditional Blackout Weekend on Friday, November 5 – Sunday, November 7, 2021.

  • Season Pass (Valid Aug 13-Nov 6, 2021) gives the thrills, laughs and screams all fall season long! The pass includes VIP Entry and other perks each night of the Fall season.
