Dave & Dujanovic: UFOs are out there, says Utah’s NASA ambassador

SALT LAKE CITY — America’s decades-long relationship with UFOs has entered a new chapter: Navy pilots are now talking about and sharing videos of regular sightings of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena — as they are now termed — on 60 Minutes. And U.S. intelligence agencies are preparing to deliver a report on UAPs to Congress next month.
The Pentagon declassified three videos taken by U.S. Navy pilots last April, which show UAPs flying at high speeds in the Earth’s atmosphere.
There have been “a number of reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated airspace in recent years,” the Navy said.
Is there anybody out there?
Patrick Wiggins, NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory Ambassador to Utah, joined Dave Noriega and Debbie Dujanovic to discuss the recent UFOs media flyby.
“I don’t believe any of this. Do you?” Debbie asked.
“Maybe I should start off by saying, although I volunteer for NASA, I’m just going to be shooting off my own ideas here, just speaking for myself” Wiggins said. “I think they’re out there. There are literally billions of galaxies, and each galaxy has hundreds of millions of stars. There are more stars out there than there are grains of sand on the whole planet Earth.
“I can’t prove it,” Wiggins said. “That’s one thing that bugs me. I hear all these reports, but there is not a single piece — at least that’s been released to the public — of documented evidence that they really are from out there. I want them to be.”
“Why?” Debbie asked.
“For the longest time I’ve been watching the skies. I’ve never seen anything I couldn’t explain. So, yeah, I think they are out there, but I just have no evidence that I can point to that they’ve been here. I want them to be here,” Wiggins said.
Is it of this Earth?
“The experts are looking at this phenomena, and they’re saying, oh these are traveling at 13,000 miles an hour. They would be pulling up to 600 G’s. . . . Do you think there’s technology out there that we don’t know about that could be just reasonable?” Dave asked.
“I wouldn’t rule that out. I mean when the F-117 first started making secret flights. . . what used to be a secret airplane. People were seeing it and attributing what it was doing to being an identified flying object. It turned out to be something flying out of Area 51, as they like to call it.
“Is it something of Earth technology that they’re just not talking about? I would not rule that out. Is it something from outer space? Once again, I wouldn’t rule that out. I just can’t prove it one way or the other,” Wiggins said.
