UPDATE: Temperatures in Salt Lake City hit 107-degrees, a record high

SALT LAKE CITY– It’s officially the hottest day of 2021 in Utah. Temperatures reached 106-degrees in Salt Lake City Tuesday, for the first time ever in the month of June.

Out of 147 years of records, Utah’s capital is just one degree from reaching an all-time high of 107-degrees.
UPDATE: The hottest day of 2021 in Utah got hotter. Temperatures reached 107-degrees in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. The National Weather Service of Salt Lake City said the city has only reached these kinds of temperatures twice before in the 147 years of record keeping.
