In 2002, Utah hosted the world for the Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games. World-class venues were built and provided an incredible place for athletes to perform at their best. But how do great Olympic memories transform into lasting benefits for the community? The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation was created to carry on the positive impacts for Utah residents and visitors.
The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation is a non-profit responsible for maintaining the Olympic facilities at world-class levels to provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to watch, learn, and excel in winter sports.

These Olympic venues inspire active, healthy lifestyles – cultivating champions in sport and in life while delivering experiences that inspire communities. Focusing on children enrolled in the free/reduced lunch program, the foundation offers free participation to thousands of youth each year through classes, camps and programs within the Olympic venue communities of Kearns, Midway and Park City.

SelectHealth recognizes the life-changing experiences provided by the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation as another example of how Utah Gives Back.
