New wildfire sparked off Highway 28 just south of Levan

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Wildfire Information announced a new wildfire Saturday afternoon that sparked just off Highway 28 south of Levan.
It announced it as the #MM17Fire and officials say it is at 150-plus acres as of 8:00 PM.

The cause of the fire is not yet determined, but crews are present to begin suppression tactics. Utah Highway Patrol first reported the blaze at 2:00 PM Saturday.
