SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City School District will host a Back-to-School Fair Friday for students, parents and families within the district boundaries.
The event is meant introduce people in the district to services and resources the district can provide. It’s also an opportunity for the community to meet the new superintendent.
Superintendent Dr. Timothy Gadson will be making remarks at 5 p.m.
The fair will be held at Glendale Middle School from 3 to 8 p.m. Tents will be set up around the field with representatives from each department available to answer questions.
In addition, the Back-to-School Fair will have music, food trucks and free drawings for prizes. The district is also partnering with the Salt Lake County Health Department for a COVID-19 clinic. The vaccines are free to anyone 12 and older in the community.
