PLEASANT GROVE, Utah — Pleasant Grove officials gave an update on the city’s boil order Saturday evening.

If the city gets good news from those results, it will ask State Division of Drinking Water to end the boil order Sunday evening. Either way, the city will post the latest information to its website and Facebook page around 6 p.m.

Once the boil order is lifted, Pleasant Grove officials say there are some things all residents impacted by the order will need to do.

Residents will need to flush their household by running all their faucets for 5 minutes. Residents are also asked to dump out any ice that was made during the boil order. City officials also recommend that residents change their disposable fridge filter.

The boil order was issued Wednesday for homes and businesses in the Battle Creek Service area after one of three water samples from the Battle Creek zone tested positive for E. Coli bacteria.
