FBI confirms body found in Grand Teton area matches Gabby Petito’s description

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. — The FBI has confirmed on a Sunday press conference they believe the body found at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming belongs to Gabby Petito.

The search for Gabby Petito, for now, is over, the cause of the death is yet to be released.

Officials will wait for a full forensics report before confirming the identity of the body.

On Sunday evening, Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue said an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. He said, the Coroners Office confirm the identity by DNA, personal ID, and photographs.


The FBI has asked people for any information they may have on Gabby or her Fiance Brian.

In Florida, the North Port Police has concluded another day on the search for Gabby’s fiance who has been missing since Tuesday.

Later Sunday, the attorney for the Laundrie family issued a statement to KSL-TV‘s Garna Mejia.
